Privacy Policy

What Personal Data We Collect

None. charleslawcalculator.com does not collect, store, or process any personal data from visitors. We do not require an account, we do not run analytics that identify individuals, we do not sell information, and we do not share data with third parties. There are no forms on the site that store your input anywhere except the optional contact form, which only sends what you type to your own email client.

Cookies

The site uses only strictly necessary technical mechanisms required to render pages and remember UI preferences, such as which language you last viewed the homepage in, or the open and closed state of FAQ accordions during a session. No advertising or tracking cookies are used, and no cookie carries any personally identifying information. No consent banner is required under GDPR because no profiling or advertising cookies are set.

Calculator Inputs

The values you type into any calculator on this site, including Charles' law, the combined gas law, the ideal gas law, and every unit converter, are processed entirely inside your own browser using JavaScript. They are never transmitted to a server, logged, or stored anywhere. Closing the tab clears every value you entered.

Hosting and Server Logs

This site is served through Cloudflare Pages. Like almost every website host, Cloudflare's infrastructure processes standard technical logs, such as IP address, browser type, and requested page, to deliver content and to protect the site against abuse. We do not have access to personal identifying details within these logs, and we do not use them for advertising or profiling. See Cloudflare's own privacy policy for details of how they handle this infrastructure-level data.

External Links

The site may link to external educational resources, reference material, or related calculators. We are not responsible for the privacy practices, content, or availability of those external sites, and linking to them is not an endorsement of their data practices.

Your GDPR Rights

Under the General Data Protection Regulation, visitors normally have the right to access, correct, or erase their personal data. Because we do not collect personal data in the first place, there is nothing on file to access, rectify, or erase. If you have any concerns about this policy or how the site operates, please use the contact page.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time as the site changes. Material changes, such as adding a new feature that processes data differently, will be reflected on this page with an updated description of what changed and why.
